HISTORY
The Copa Gobernadores was born in 2024, with an idea by the C.E.O. and Developer of El Dorado Ranch J. Patrick Butler in San Felipe Baja California who had the vision to create a tournament that unites the different golf courses of the region.
This idea was carried out in 2024 in its first edition thanks to the excellent disposition of each of the managers of the participating locations Ensenada, Puerto Penasco, Mexicali and San Felipe, giving as a result a tournament of great quality and acceptance among the golfers of the region.
MISION
Promote a love for this sport, bringing together golfers of all levels to participate; and create a community of golfers that further unites the participating venues.
Furthermore, with the creation of the Copa Gobernadores, we aspire to boost tourism among the participating destinations, attracting national and international visitors who contribute to the region’s economy. With all this, our golf tournament becomes a celebration of sport, community, and solidarity.
